Sued for a bad grade?

I guess this was bound to happen:

Pa. grad student sues, says C grade cost her $1.3M

I don't know the specifics, so I'm not going to shoot my mouth off.  I'll only say that I've been wary of such things for a long time.  I once heard about a student who tried to complain to his professor about his homework grades.  He was having trouble answering the questions in the textbook, and he insisted that the questions were poorly worded (even though he was the only one in class struggling).  But the textbook he was complaining about had been written by the very professor he was complaining to.  If a student has that kind of chutzpah, lawsuits can't be far behind.

So my fellow professors, be careful out there!
